Odisha government has decided to complete construction of Netaji memorial in Puri before Nabakalebara and Rath Yatra.
The culture department is converting an ancestral house of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose into a memorial. INTACH a voluntary organization working for protection and conservation of cultural heritage in the country, is engaged in restoration and conservation of the century-old heritage building on Gopal Ballav Road.
The building will have an open air theatre where tourists can watch traditional and folk dances of Odisha. There will be a souvenir shop to exhibit rare articles belonging to Netaji for tourists.
