The 11th Toshali National Crafts Fair 2016 which is scheduled to be held at Janata Maidan in city will commence from December 15. The fair is being organised by state’s Handloom, Textiles and Handicrafts department. It will continue till December 27.
Artisans, Weavers, Painters and Sculptors from all around the country will participate in the fair and showcase their contemporary and traditional handloom and handicrafts products.
Cultural programmes will be organised every evening and audience will be able to enjoy performances of eminent artistes from all across the state. Events will be conducted in collaboration with Odisha Sangita Natak Academy. Besides, Bollywood singer Kavita Krishnamurthy, Amit Sana will also perform during the mela.
