Odisha born IAS officer Girish Chandra Murmu has been appointed as first Lt Governor of Jammu and Kashmir.
1985 batch IAS Girish Chandra Murmu served as Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s principal secretary in CMO & played key role in advising him in his political careers. He comes from Mayurbhanj,Odisha & holds a Master’s degree from Utkal Univ. & MBA, University of Birmingham.
