Traffic posts in bhubaneswar will have automated public address systems to clear passage of ambulances. When an ambulance approaches a traffic post, the public address system will automatically ask people to give way to the emergency vehicle. Police had asked the BMC to install electronic signal system at all traffic posts. At present, only 19 posts out of 57 are having electronic signals. Police has also asked the works department to remodel the traffic posts.
