The second Tata Steel Bhubaneswar Literary Meet (TSBLM) is to be held at Trident Bhubaneswar on January 20 and 21, 2017, to be inaugurated at Trident Bhubaneswar on January 20, 2017, at 11.00 a.m. TSBLM was launched in 2016, and this year features a highly distinguished panel of speakers, among them such stalwarts of Odia literature as Sitakant Mahapatra, Ramakanta Raut, Debi Prasanna Pattanayak, Prativa Ray, Haraprasad Das, and Gourahari Das.

In addition, we welcome the globally renowned Amitav Ghosh, alongside such new voices in literature as Kanishk Tharoor, Albert Forns, and Stephen Kelman, acclaimed journalist Barkha Dutt, celebrated film, stage and television personalities Rajit Kapur, Suman Mukhopadhyay and Anant Mahapatra, and former England cricket captain Nasser Hussain. We are also proud to present the first ever Odia stage adaptation of William Shakespeare’s King Lear, directed by Anant Mahapatra and performed by Utkal Rangamanch Trust.
