With continuous success AAINA in association with Brotherhood brings We Care Film Festival to Bhubaneswar for the 6th time!, from 16th – 17th January 2017.
The We Care Film Festival is small initiative by AAINA with an aim of spreading awareness about disability issues through the medium of films. We have been continuously fighting the issue of disability , women and child rights issue for the past 18 years, to make lives of those needy ones better. The film festival involves Documentary film screening related to disability and discussion with a panel of experts; Short Film Competition open to local level artists and public on the theme of “ Celebrating Diversity’’ . As a part of the event, we are running a Short Film Competition inviting people to submit short films (Up to 1 minute or Up to 5 minutes in length) on the theme of Disability. For Debut Film Makers, we have a separate category and invite up to 1 minute films. Kindly note that this year we are encouraging films from two categories on Mental Retardation and Cerebral Palsy as we find very less submissions in these two categories of disabilities. Movies from other categories are allowed but priorities will be given to the movies capturing Cerebral Palsy and Mental Retardation.
We welcome you all to showcase your talent and submit short films for the competition.
