Music Workshop by Wood Vibes (Switzerland) at Chandrasekharpur English Medium School, a nonprofit school for socially & economically challenged children, Bhubaneswar, organized by Mudra Foundation as a part of Odisha Biennale 2015.
Odisha Biennale is back again with its 2nd festival, Odisha Biennale 2015. As promised during the last festival in 2013, Odisha Biennale 2015 would showcase even larger number of artists from various creative fields.
On 19th October 2015, the festival slowly started to peep into the picturesque city of Bhubaneswar by organizing the 2nd Music workshop at Chandrasekharpur English Medium School, a nonprofit school for socially & economically challenged children., by Wood Vibes, a group of drummers from Switzerland.
Wood vibes along with Mitabi Kobayashi (Documentary Film Director), Tsuyoshi Hirano (Painter & Fashion Designer) mesmerized the young children & the support staff of the school with their peppy beats. Wood vibes included the children from the school by providing small trinkets of musical instruments & together with them created beautiful fast upbeat piece of music.
At the end of the ceremony Mudra Foundation distributed jute bags to the children which was supported by Toshiba for Odisha Biennale 2015. Throughout the workshop we could see how the kids not only enjoyed but also participated in creating music.
