To promote cycling as a body-fit-maker means of communication, an innovative programme, ‘Tour de Konark’, is going to be organised on November 29 with participations of representatives of more than 200 organisations, comprising educational institutions, NGOs, corporate houses and cycling clubs and Government employees.
The Cyclothon aims to promote cycling as a culture in tourist destinations across the State and highlighting health benefits of cycling.
Cyclothon would be organised on the 40-km route from Konark to Puri on the Marine Drive which is surrounded by beautiful flora and fauna and home to many endangered plant and animal species.
