What is UNZIP OPEN MIC event?
UNZIP OPEN MIC is an informal event on the occasion of International Women’s Day where women can participate and speak on any issue close to their heart.
What are the themes?
At UNZIP you can openly talk about the time when your uncle molested you, your brother was given a bike and you were told to be home before dusk, your male colleague given the promotion because you were a woman, your husband got the licence to think his job was more important than yours and you had to compromise with your dreams, expectations, ambitions and aspirations, because you are a woman. UNZIP also wants to celebrate your flaws, success and journey. If you have a story which can inpire, we have the audience for you. If you have a bindass attitude that you want to flaunt, we are here to applaud. If you want to celebrate your identity of being a woman, we are here!
