The Urban Management and Governance Symposium of the Xavier Center for Urban Management, Xavier University Bhubaneswar will be held on December 2nd, 2017. The symposium is an initiative to bring together thought leaders from the industry, profession, and academia to deliberate on Professional needs for Smart Urbanization. The symposium will facilitate the congregation of professors, urban planners, smart city advisors and management specialists from across the nation to deliberate and contribute towards the consolidation of the field of Urban Management.
The conference will consist of Fr. Paul Fernandes, Fr. Alwyn, and Prof. Kajri Mishra and Prof. Dr. Ashok Kumar who shall inaugurate the event. The guest speakers will be Prof. Dr. Ashok Kumar, School of Planning & Architecture, Mr. Dinesh Harode, Team Lead SLPMC for Smart Cities, IPE Global, Mr. Shankar Arumugham, National Head, Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Prashant Kumar, Assistant General Manager, Ecorys, Mr. Chandan Sinha, Vice President, Smart City Advisory, Mr. Jamal A Rasheed, Head Urban Planning, L&T Ramboll, Mr. Md. Mahtab Alam, General Manager, Faridabad Smart City and Mr. Supratik Sarkar, Regional Head, IDeCK. They will present their perspectives, focusing on Smart Urbanization in the domain of profession and education.
The Urban Management and Governance Symposium will highlight the need for Urbanization and its aspects which will be at the forefront of global socio economic development. It brings people together from diverse background on one common platform empowering the change through Smart Urbanization.
