Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited (BSCL) came out with a tender notification for a new Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) building including an Intelligent City Operations and Management Centre (ICOMC) at Unit-IX. The much-awaited iconic city-based project would cost Rs 67 crore.
The 2,31,000-square-feet structure of BMC office and ICOMC would be developed in an area of 4.04 acres and have parking in basement, the BMC office on lower and upper ground floors, ICOMC facility on first and second floors, a cafeteria on third floor and a landscaped area with terrace. All the floors above third floor will have BMC offices.
The project would be completed within 24 months after the award of the tender to the selected bidder.
