Here is some good news for the parks goers and morning walkers. Classic numbers will be played in the parks to embalm the people. The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) is planning to organize classical music shows in the parks twice a year. The name of the music show will be called ‘music in parks’.
The music shows is in addition to the plan to create three more indoor gyms at Madhusudan Park, Pokhariput, Kharvel Park, Khandagiri and Buddha Jayanti Park, Niladri Vihar. On a rotation basis, the music shows will be organized in all city parks.
Recently, the BDA planned to integrate Netaji Subhas Park in Gandamunda with Madhusudan Park, Pokhariput to create a huge 50 acre park. It will have the city’s longest 6 km walkway, located along the proposed Dhauli-Khandagiri heritage corridor.
