Odisha has launched a “Youth Innovation fund” to encourage young entrepreneurs pursue their goals.
The state has allocated a fund worth Rs.2 crore for the purpose. Rs 50,000 will be awarded for new ideas and Rs.1 lakh for any demonstrative product, prototype, patents and incubated products of services.
The scheme was being implemented by the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department and is intended to be granted to individuals whose entrepreneurial ventures impact the socio-economic condition of the state positively.
