China Metallurgical Engineering & Project Corporation (CMEPC), a diversified engineering and project group is exploring the possibility of collaborating with Odisha’s Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI), for setting up an industrial park and a machine shop in the state. A special purpose vehicle of UCCI will forge joint venture with CMEPC for setting up the park and a machine shop. The discussions are at a preliminary stage.
The companies will be from sectors like metallurgical, power and mining equipment as the Make in India policy is guided by Indian Government. The machine shop will be a separate shop to make the machines and assemble equipment
