Naveen Patnaik has ordered that first week of each month will be “No Meeting Week” and has asked the Secretaries to visit districts during these days and not to sit in the State Secretariat. Chief Minister will review the Visit Report Notes of three four Secretaries randomly every month and Chief Secretary will review rest of the Visit Notes.
Never before Chief Minister used to take stock of the field visits of the Secretaries and the senior bureaucrats are used to send the reports DoPC for taking up issues with departments concerned.
So none of the Secretaries will be available in State Secretariat during the entire first week of every month
