Prime Minister Narendra Modi would visit Rourkela on April 1. This was informed by the Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oramon on Sunday. Oram said that Modi would dedicate the modernisation project of the Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) to the nation. In fact, most of the projects under the modernisation programme of the RSP that had begun on January 4, 2008 at a cost of Rs12,000 crore have now been completed and operationalised. The Prime Minister would also lay foundation-stone for expansion of the existing airstrip in the steel city.
