A fisheries hub on 20 acres at Kausalyagang on the city outskirts is being planned to server dual purpose of knowledge dissemination centre for farmers and recreational facilities such as play area for kids, restaurants with fish-based cuisines and theatres for the general public.
The fisheries hub will probably be the first agriculture-based tourism destination in the state and attract quite a few people as it will located on the Bhubaneswar-Puri highway and not far from the international peace pagoda at Dhauli.
