A museum of international standards is in plans to be set up at Udaygiri to exhibit various findings of Buddhist artefacts. Around 200 Buddhist scholars, researchers, tour operators and monks from countries like USA, UK, Malaysia , Sri Lanka , Vietnam, and Nepal are attending the ongoing Kalinga International Buddhist Conclave.
All the delegates will visit the famous Buddhist sites of Udayagiri, Ratnagiri, Lalitagiri, Langudi, Kaima and other places of Jajpur district during their three day long stay in Udayagiri and Bhubaneswar. The Archeological Survey of India (ASI) has already started construction of a museum to keep holy relic of Lord Buddha in Lalitagiri.
