This October 10 6 men from Odisha — senior bureaucrats and businessman among them — will pedal off on a course to Bhutan. Bhubaneswar cycling and adventure club is organizing the trip which will course through parts of Odisha and West Bengal before crossing into the neighbouring nation.
The journey will start from VIR 11 Unit Six (behind Bhubaneswar Club) at 6.30 am on 10.10.2015. We request all the cycling enthusiasts of Bhubanswar to join the BHU-BHU cyclists team to cheer up..
Six members are taking part in this 12 day adventure(10-21 October 2015) passing through Cuttack, Bhadrak, Baleswar, Jaleswar, Medinipur, Barddhaman, Berhampore, Malda, Kishanganj, Jalpaigudi, Phuntscholing(Bhutan), Gedu(Bhutan), Chapcha(Bhutan), Thimpu(Bhutan). The 1252 kilometre trip also incudes 170 kilometre mountain ride in Bhutan from Phuntscholing to Thimu reaching to the elevation of 2300 metres.
